Food Web
A food web is a system of interlocking and interdependent food chains that shows the energy transfer between organisms.
Biomagnification
If a toxin was introduced to the giant panda's food web then everything would go into chaos. First the toxin toxin would spread from the producer to the primary consumer because when the primary consumer eats the producer they only get 10% of the biomass of the producer so they have to eat more then one, and when the secondary consumer eats the primary consumer they only get 10% of the biomass of the producer so they have to eat a lot more and each stage up the food web the more toxin the animals get, this is called biomagnification. Then toxin would build up in the organisms tissues, this is called bioaccumulation. So by the time the toxin gets to the apex predator it would be deadly is and the apex predator would die and the whole food web would be in chaos. For example if the snow leopard were to die out then the jackals population would raise and the bamboo rat and red pandas population would go down because the jackals would eat them and the jackals have nothing to keep them in check and if the population of the bamboo rat go down then the snake population would also go down and if the the population of the bamboo rat and red panda go down then the bamboo would start to over grow.
